Hi, I’m Lisa Kemble.

AEDP Therapist. Gottman Therapist.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re carrying too much—too many emotions, too many expectations, too many unanswered questions—you’re not alone.

Whether you’re untangling past experiences, questioning your identity or relationships, or trying to reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel lost, I want you to know there is a way through.

Therapy goes beyond talking about problems—it’s about transformation.

We’ll co-create a space where you can be fully yourself, no filters, no pretense. A space where your pain and your power can coexist, where creativity and insight help you move forward.

Healing doesn’t just mean “coping”—it means truly stepping into a life that feels more free, more whole, more you.

If you’re thinking “I have no idea how that’s gonna happen,” know that you don’t have to figure it all out alone. I’d love to walk along with you.

Connection ✧ Creativity ✧ Spirituality ✧ Empowerment ✧

“To finally surrender ourselves to healing, we have to have three spaces opened up within us –and all at the same time: our opinionated head, our closed-down heart, and our defensive and defended body. That is the summary work of spirituality–and it is indeed work…. It leads to such broad and deep perception that most traditions would just call it “light.”

My Professional Background

I show up to this work with my whole heart—engaged, honest, and ready to help you see yourself in a new light. Here are some of the tools, trainings, and experiences I blend together to do that:

  • Advanced Training in AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy). I use a transformative therapy to help you move through emotional pain and trauma toward deep healing and a life of vitality.

  • A master’s degree in Art Therapy. I use creative techniques to help you access and express those thoughts and feelings that are sometimes beyond words.

  • An undergrad degree in Theology. If spirituality is something that brings meaning to you or if you’ve experienced hurt or trauma related to religion, I’m here for you.

  • A focus on social justice. A portion of my practice is devoted to social justice work, including education, advocacy, anti-racism, and LGBTQ+ allyship.

  • “Lisa has been a life-giving traveling companion, guiding a transformative journey through deep grief, self-discovery, loss, change, and creative/spiritual drought. The care I have received at RISE has truly transformed my mind, body and spirit. My family and loved ones are experiencing a more present, engaged and full version of myself thanks to this transformative work. I'm forever grateful.“

    –JJ

  • "I am reminded of my time with Rise Therapy every day - in the way I relate to my husband with a more wholehearted love, in the way I speak to my children with more understanding, and in the way I love and forgive those who have caused me pain in the past. Lisa's work is nothing short of life changing, not only for me, but for my children and their future children as well. Working with Lisa gifted us with generational healing, a future of healthy living and loving."

    –SB

  • "The time I spent with Lisa was transformative. I began therapy seeking support through a specific situation, only to find myself heal and grow overall. In the midst of honesty, stillness, and grief Lisa met me with comfort, strength, authenticity, creativity, truth, and connection. Therapy was the gift of bringing me back to myself."

My Story

As a deep feeler myself, I too have experienced what it’s like to feel anxious, depressed, disconnected and alone. When I felt the most lost in my life, I started journaling and drawing to get the painful feelings out from inside me and onto the page. Then I began to see a gifted therapist who helped me make sense of my emotions, find myself again, and build healthier, stronger relationships with those around me. These experiences, combined with contemplative spiritual practices, have been life-changing for me. It’s been my great joy and privilege to be able to continue this healing work by offering it to others.

Beyond the Therapy Room

When I'm not in my therapy office, you can find me listening to live music with my partner and family of five, adventuring at the beach, creating something, discussing my latest book crush (or nerding out on the Enneagram) with friends, or wielding my purple paddle on the pickleball court.

Let’s get started.
